Overview:
Hack the Gap is a Minneapolis St Paul based organization that focuses on increasing equity in technology by highlighting diverse voices and perspectives. This includes women, non-binary, black, indigenous and people of color. We do this through hackathons, programming and investing in technology built by and for women, non-binary and BIPoC peoples. This year we are diversifying our programming to further promote our mission of equity through our new digital network, new programs, and new events.
We’re looking for a Program Manager:
Hack the Gap is looking for a Programming Manager to help us grow our new initiatives and partnerships. This position will work closely with the Hack the Gap team to ensure that Hack the Gap can effectively produce events and facilitate programs to drive positive change in tech.
You will be responsible for:
Organizing, outlining, and developing multiple projects
Co-design the project goals and success markers
Communicating with project partners
Coordinating with our partners, participants and community members on projects
Provide updates and create impact reports for each project
Acts as a liaison between the project and its partners
Engage with HTG participants and provide community updates
You are:
A self-starter and someone who can run with a task
A solid writer and can put together content, engaging emails and copy
A solid communicator
Proactive and flexible in a fast paced environment
Interested in Business, Communications, Technology, Management, Philanthropy, Marketing, and/or Entrepreneurship
Miscellaneous:
25-35 hours per week depending on availability
You’ll be working mostly with Google products, Squarespace, Mighty Networks, and Canva.

We’re looking for a Program Manager with Full Stack Development experience:

Proficiency in modern software engineering technology, tools and techniques
Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript
Proficiency in Javascript-based frameworks and data structures in SQL databases
Interest in advanced technology and cloud computing
Experience:
Graduate of a bootcamp, Certificate of Software Engineering or 2+ years experience professional programming

We’re looking for a Marketing/Social Media Associate
Hack the Gap is looking for a marketing/social media associate to help us focus our marketing and social media efforts. This position will work closely with the Hack the Gap team to ensure that Hack the Gap can effectively produce social content to drive positive change in tech.
You will be responsible for:
Organizing, outlining, and developing marketing and media initiatives
Co-design marketing projects and track impact
Co-create and implement the communication calendar
Coordinating with our partners, participants and community members on related projects
Provide updates and create impact reports for each project
Partner with other media partners to drive brand awareness
You are:
A self-starter and someone who can run with a task
A solid writer and can put together content, engaging emails and copy
A solid communicator
Proactive and flexible in a fast paced environment
Interested in Business, Communications, Technology, Management, Philanthropy, Marketing, and/or Entrepreneurship
Miscellaneous:
15-20 hours per week depending on availability
You’ll be working mostly with Google products, social analytics software, Squarespace, Mighty Networks, and Canva.
